Simple Present Tense, Present Continuous Tense, dan Present Perfect Tense.


1.   SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
Digunakan untuk kegiatan sehari-hari.
Rumus :





(+)       S + tobe + O + C
(-)        S + tobe + not + O + C
(?)        tobe + S + O + C
atau
(+)       S + V1s/es + O + C
(-)        S + do/does + not + O + C
(?)        do/does + S + V1 + O + C
 
                                                       

Ex :
(+)   Anisa is in class.                      (+)       Ria studies english every day.
(-)    Anisa is not in class.                (-)        Ria does not study english every day.
(?)   is Anisa in class?                      (?)        Does Ria study english every day?

(+)   She is sad.                               (+)       Fani speaks Mandarin.
(-)    She is not sad.                         (-)        Fani does not speak Mandarin
(?)   Is she sad?                               (?)        Does Fani speak Mandarin?

Kalimat pasif :

                                                    S + tobe + V3 + by


Ex :
P = English is studied by Ria
P = Mandarin is spoken by Ria.

2.   PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
Digunakan untuk kegiatan yang sedang berlangsung di waktu sekarang.
Rumus :


(+)       S + tobe + Ving
(-)        S + tobe + not + Ving
(?)        tobe + S + Ving
 





Ex :
(+)       They are playing football.                   (+)       She is driving the car.
(-)        They are not playing football.             (-)        She is not driving the car.
(?)        Are they playing football?                  (?)        Is she driving the car?

Kalimat pasif :


S + tobe + being + V3 + by
 


Ex :
P = Football are being played by them.
P = The car is being driven by her.

3.   PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
Digunakan untuk kegiatan yang telah terjadi di waktu lampau.
Rumus :


(+)       S + have/has + V3
(-)        S + have/has + not + V3
(?)        Have/has + S + V3
 





Ex :
(+)       Syifa has sent letters.                          (+)       Anjani has sold flowers.
(-)        Syifa has not sent letters.                    (-)        Anjani has not sold flowers.
(?)        Has Syifa sent letters?                        (?)        Has Anjani sold flowers?

Kalimat pasif :


S + have/has + been + V3 + by
 



Ex :
P = Latters have been sent by Syifa.
P = Flowers have been sold by Anjani.
